Shepherd’s Pie-Inspired Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 carrots, peeled and diced
  • 2 celery sticks, chopped
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 (14 oz) can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes (for serving)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

Step 1: Brown the Meat

  1. Add the beef broth and canned chopped tomatoes to the pot.
