Spaghetti Casserole Worth a Million Dollars

 

 

Million Dollar Spaghetti is a dish made with layers of spaghetti, cheese, and a homemade meat sauce. It’s affordable, simple to prepare, and a dish that everyone in the family will enjoy.

 

List of items needed to make a recipe.

1 package of spaghetti (8 ounces)

1 pound of lean ground beef

1 jar of spaghetti sauce (16 ounces)

1/2 cup of butter, cut into slices, divided.

1 container of cottage cheese (8 ounces)

1 package of cream cheese (8 ounces), at room temperature.

1/4 cup of sour cream

1 package of shredded strong Cheddar cheese (8 ounces)

How to Make a Delicious Spaghetti Casserole

Heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

Heat a big pot of water with a little salt until it boils. Boil spaghetti in hot water until it is cooked but still a little firm, for around 12 minutes. Empty.

Warm up a big frying pan on medium-high heat. Cook and stir the beef in a hot pan until it turns brown and crumbly, for about 5 to 7 minutes. Then, remove and get rid of the excess fat. Put in a bowl and stir in tomato sauce.

Put half of the butter slices at the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Put half of the spaghetti in the dish.

Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream in a bowl, then spread the mixture over the spaghetti. Place the rest of the spaghetti on top and add the rest of the butter slices.

Put the ground beef mixture on top of the spaghetti and spread it out evenly.

Cook in the oven that has been heated up for 30 minutes. Put Cheddar cheese on top and bake until the cheese melts and turns slightly brown, for about 15 more minutes.
