This classic Goulash recipe mixes soft elbow pasta, tasty seasoned ground beef, and a delicious tomato sauce, all covered with melted cheddar cheese. It’s the ideal meal for big family dinners or relaxed get-togethers.
List of components.
3 pieces of garlic, finely chopped
1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
1 pound of elbow pasta
1 and a half tablespoons of Italian seasoning
1 onion, cut into small pieces.
2 cans of tomato sauce, each can is 15 ounces.
1/2 tablespoon of black pepper
2 pounds of ground beef
2 cans of small diced tomatoes, each can weighing 14.5 ounces.
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
2 small spoons of salt
Directions
Heat up and get the pasta ready:
Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C) before using it. Put a lot of water in a big pot and bring it to a boil. Add a good amount of salt and cook the elbow macaroni for 3 minutes less than what the package says. Drain the liquid and put it to the side.
Prepare the beef and seasonings:
Warm a big frying pan on medium-high heat. Put the minced meat and diced onion. Cook for 6-7 minutes, stirring and breaking up the beef until it turns brown and the onion becomes soft. Remove any extra grease.
Create the sauce.
Add the chopped garlic and cook for 1 minute until it smells good. Put the tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, and Worcestershire sauce together and mix well.
Time of year.
Add the Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Try the sauce and add more seasonings if necessary.
Make a dish with pasta and cheese.
Mix the drained macaroni into the pan, making sure the pasta is covered with the sauce. Mix the shredded cheddar cheese into the mixture until well combined.
Bake Perfectly:
If your pan can be used in the oven, you can bake the goulash in it. Or, put the mix in a greased rectangular baking dish measuring 9 by 13 inches. Cook in the oven that has been preheated for 20-25 minutes, or until the dish is bubbling and the cheese is golden brown.
Serve and enjoy:
Take it out of the oven, allow it to cool for a bit, and serve it while it’s still warm.
